A Character Analysis of Nora in Ibsens A Dolls House It is a general consensus that women play more than one fibre after they are married and have a family. These roles include wife, mother, chauffeur, and nurse. In A Dolls House, Nora is given many roles to play and, though some of the above are included, she also plays the role of child, friend, confidante, and manipulator. But the greatest feat that she accomplishes is her feature performance as doting daughter and submissive spouse.
